Estimate only. Confirm all punches, paid and unpaid break treatment, workweek boundaries, rounding, overtime rules, and any daily or double-time requirements that apply. This tool does not create an official time record or payroll result.
Supported in AppyShift
- Employees can record worked time against scheduled shifts and submit corrections for review.
- Managers can review missing punches, break exceptions, overtime, and schedule variances before payroll export.
- Approved time records flow into payroll summaries and supported payroll exports.
Calculate each worked day
Enter a clock-in time, clock-out time, and unpaid break minutes for each day. Mark overnight shifts when work ends on the following calendar day.
Keep workweeks separate
Weekly overtime is calculated independently for each seven-day workweek, including when biweekly mode is selected. Change the threshold only to model an approved policy or rule.
Review before payroll
Compare the calculated totals with the original punches, approved corrections, paid-break rules, and the overtime requirements that apply to the employee and location.
Manager checklist
- Choose weekly or biweekly mode and the first date in the period.
- Enter start and end times for every worked shift.
- Subtract only breaks that are actually unpaid under the applicable rules.
- Mark shifts that end on the next day.
- Verify regular and overtime totals before using them for payroll.
