AppyShift Work Alerts

Employers that use AppyShift can send their employees text alerts about work. Texts are optional: employees choose to turn them on, and anyone can turn them off at any time.

How to opt in Stop text alerts

What we send

Messages come from AppyShift on behalf of your employer and are about your work only:

  • Schedule and shift alerts
  • Time-off updates
  • Attendance and call-out alerts
  • Task reminders
  • Emergency workplace alerts

Example: “AppyShift: Your shift on Fri 9/27 changed to 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Sign in to view details. Reply STOP to opt out.”

  • Message frequency varies with your schedule and your employer’s alerts.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • We never send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt in

Text alerts are turned on by the employee, never by default:

  1. Sign in to the AppyShift employee portal.
  2. Open My Profile and go to Text alerts.
  3. Enter your mobile number, choose which alerts you want, and check the box to agree to the terms below. The box is unchecked until you check it.
  4. Select Save.

What the opt-in looks like

Consent to text alerts is not a condition of employment or of using AppyShift. Everything sent by text is also available in the AppyShift app and by email.

Opted out before and want texts again? Email support@appyshift.com first. To protect people who asked us to stop, a number that opted out stays off until support turns it back on; then you opt in again from your profile.

How to opt out

Any of these stops every text alert right away:

  • Reply STOP to any message from 8336600050. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT also work. You’ll get one text confirming it, then no more.
  • Turn off Text alerts in My Profile in the employee portal.
  • Enter your number in the form on this page.

Privacy

We use your mobile number only to send the work alerts you asked for. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is visible to your employer in AppyShift and is shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts.
