Turn on text alerts
- Select Me, then scroll to Account Alerts and find Text alerts.
- Check Send me text message alerts.
- Enter your Mobile Number.
- Select Save Alert Preferences. We text a 6-digit code to that number.
- The page comes back to Text alerts. Right under your number, a yellow box says Enter the 6-digit code we texted to your number. Your box stays checked while we wait for the code.
- Type the code in that box, then select Turn on text alerts.
You see "Text alerts are on" with the last digits of your number, and we send you a text to confirm. Save that number in your contacts as AppyShift so you know it's us.
The code works for 10 minutes. Didn't get it? Check the number above the code box, then select Save Alert Preferences again to get a new code.
Choose which texts you get
Under Text alerts, check the kinds of updates you want by text, like Schedule and shift alerts, then select Save Alert Preferences. Kinds marked Disabled by company settings aren't sent by text at your company.
Turn text alerts off
- Uncheck Send me text message alerts and select Save Alert Preferences.
- Or reply STOP to any of our texts. Reply HELP for help.
Replying STOP turns off AppyShift texts from every employer, and the number stays blocked. If you want texts again later, contact support@appyshift.com first, then turn text alerts back on here.
Don't see Text alerts?
If it says Not available or Text alerts can be enabled by your company later, your company hasn't turned on texting yet. Ask your manager.
You'll still see every alert in your AppyShift inbox, whether texts are on or off. Message and data rates may apply. Once texts are on, you can also text us for your shifts, hours and time off: see Text AppyShift for your shifts, hours and time off.
